Federalism
[edit]@DankJae I agree that Proposed United Kingdom Confederation is essentially a form of independence within a confederal union rather than devolution. Federalism in the United Kingdom on the other hand is heavily associated with devolution and proposals for a federal UK have virtually always included some form of greater devolution or influence for the devolved governments. - @Titus Gold, While I'd argue federalism is not part of devolution (two forms of dispersing sovereignty), I'll accept it being re-added if its worded like "Federalism (alternative)" / "Federalism (related)"? Clearly stating its not part of devolution itself but related, to any reader. DankJae 22:41, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Images and flagdeco
[edit]@DankJae I think the template looks less interesting and attractive without the images and flagdeco. Titus Gold (talk) 15:13, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- I now see that the guidelines advice against images and flags. I think this is overly restrictive to be honest. Titus Gold (talk) 15:16, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Titus Gold, While I do agree that it looks less interesting, that is not navboxes are really for. And most readers will not see them. Tbh was gutted when I remembered WP:NAVIMAGES but in the end it makes sense and is policy. Images may look good to one person but distracting to another.
- By the end of the day, Wikipedia is for information not images. DankJae 15:16, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- Shame but there we go. Thanks for your recent work on the templates. Titus Gold (talk) 15:18, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
